Here at Brick Oven — an Austin institution since 1982 — we do everything we can to offer gluten-free options to our guests.
Each of our locations — Brodie, Arboretum, and Red River — features a gluten-free menu. When you’re seated, please just tell your server that you’d like to see it.
One of the reasons that we make sure to provide gluten-free options is that Red River general manager Christine Moore, who has been with us since the very beginning in 1982, is a “fellow celiac.”
So we know just what it’s like to be out with friends or family for a great meal and not be able to share in the fun.

Please note that if you are extremely gluten sensitive, wheat products are used at Brick Oven restaurants. We do use separate utensils, water, pans and screens to make sure we have no cross contact. Flour can become airborne and people who eat gluten sit in our chairs and use our tables. We promise to do our very best to protect you but we cannot be considered entirely gluten free.
