You walk into your house, shaking off the cold. You have a hot cardboard box in your hand and your family sees those bold red letters that spell “Brick Oven.” Shouts of joy! Everyone gathers around as you open the box. Steam escapes. The warm smell of wood-fired pizza fills your kitchen.
You are a hero.
But our fires are ALWAYS burning! We keep our ovens stoked around the clock, just so that Austin can have THE BEST wood-fired pizza.
So come in from the cold and let us warm your belly with Italian love. A presto!
We LOVE the Fall! We may not have that kind of Fall foliage, but we have a menu full of delicious, soul-warming Italian food. Stop by and see why we have been Austin’s favorite wood-fired pizza since 1982!

In America, 350 slices of pizza are sold EVERY SECOND. That’s love.
With so much to choose from out there, come by and see why we have been Austin’s favorite wood-fired pizza since 1982!
Above: Nearly all of our pizzas can be made gluten-free (medium size only). Each of our locations has a wide variety of gluten-free options. Please just let your server know that you’d like to see a gluten-free menu.
According to the National Institute of Health, “up to 1 percent of the general population” is affected by Celiac Disease, a condition that prevents sufferers from being able to properly absorb nutrients. It is caused by consuming wheat products and the only treatment is a strictly gluten-free diet.
Here at Brick Oven — an Austin institution since 1982 — we do everything we can to offer gluten-free options to our guests.
Each of our locations — Brodie, Arboretum, and Red River — features a gluten-free menu. When you’re seated, please just tell your server that you’d like to see it.
One of the reasons that we make sure to provide gluten-free options is that Red River general manager Christine Moore, who has been with us since the very beginning in 1982, is a “fellow celiac.”
So we know just what it’s like to be out with friends or family for a great meal and not be able to share in the fun.
At Brick Oven, there is always a gluten-free option.
Please note that if you are extremely gluten sensitive, wheat products are used at Brick Oven restaurants. We do use separate utensils, water, pans and screens to make sure we have no cross contact. Flour can become airborne and people who eat gluten sit in our chairs and use our tables. We promise to do our very best to protect you but we cannot be considered entirely gluten free.
