Each of our locations has a wide variety of gluten-free options. Please just let your server know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

According to the National Institute of Health, “up to 1 percent of the general population” is affected by Celiac Disease, a condition that prevents sufferers from being able to properly absorb nutrients. It is caused by consuming wheat products and the only treatment is a strictly gluten-free diet.

Here at Brick Oven — an Austin institution since 1982 — we do everything we can to offer gluten-free options to our guests.

Both of our locations — Arboretum and Red River — carry a gluten-free dough.

Please note that if you are extremely gluten sensitive, wheat products are used at Brick Oven restaurants. We do use separate utensils, water, pans and screens to make sure we have no cross contact. Flour can become airborne and people who eat gluten sit in our chairs and use our tables. We promise to do our very best to protect you but we cannot be considered entirely gluten free.
